We wanted to let you know about Game Changing, a weekly journal from Dan Spainhour.

Each week Dan shares some of his unique perspectives on assorted topics. Along with quotes, articles and photos, Dan will even share some of the lyrics/poems he has written throughout his long and distinguished career.

In fact, readers who know Dan may see a very different side of him as he shares his reflective thinking that has benefited him throughout his life.

Evolving is a term Dan uses frequently and this Game Changing journal is a part of that evolution. We believe that as he shares his processes of expansion there are valuable lessons we can all learn.
We are born with a burning desire to evolve and grow, to open up, to expand.

When you change the way you look at things; the things you look at will change.
Your life is either growing and expanding or it is decaying. This weekly journal is designed to help readers see the value in evolving through life. Every Monday, there will be a new post with ideas that could change your life. Each week’s information will unfold around a fresh, new evolving topic designed to change the way you look at things.

Don't Take It Out On The Coach

The following is a recent entry to Dan Spainhour's substack, Game Changing: Changing The Way You Look at Things So The Things You Look at Will Change I can’t even remember where I first heard it, but it is something that stuck to me like glue and has been with me ever since. “Don’t take it out on the coach!” So simple yet so profound. This simple saying has been my motto for life since my early days of coaching. You see, at the end of the day you will exit this world the same way you came in it—by yourself. Therefore, it is so important to take care of yourself and not allow others to live inside your head. When I first started coaching, I wanted to control everyone and everything.
