Eleven years ago when I wrote the first issue of The Coaching and Leadership Journal I had no idea it would evolve into what it has. We now have some of the top leaders in athletics and education as subscribers. We have many who have been with us since the very beginning.
When we officially launched there was so much speculation that subscription-based print journals were dead. But I knew what my years of experience had taught me Top leaders want to read and they want to learn--they just don't have time to waste on irrelevant information. In an era where magazines and newspapers are falling by the wayside I feel very fortunate that we have been able to sustain.
I am also proud that we have not raised the subscription price since we began eleven years ago. Yes, shipping and printing prices have increased but I remain committed to keeping our subscription rate the same. For the price of most people's monthly cable bill our subscribers receive a years' worth of valuable information delivered to their door.
It has been a challenge over the past year with budget cuts due to the pandemic but we remain committed to bringing our readers information that make them and their organizations better. Like all companies we cannot ignore the bottom-line so it is important for our subscriber base to grow. If you are not already a subscriber I encourage you to join the team today. And if you are a subscriber I would greatly appreciate you spreading the word about or Journal. As we all know word of mouth marketing carries the most weight.
Let's all keep making a difference out there!
