Single Issues Of Past Editions Of The Coaching & Leadership Journal Are Now Available

Issues are available for both subscribers and non-subscribers.
The Leadership Publishing Team announced that past issues of the highly acclaimed Coaching and Leadership Journal are now available for purchase. Whether you are a current subscriber, a past subscriber or you have never subscribed before, you can add an issue to your library. 

The Journal's first issue was made available for sale in 2013.The Journal's subscriber list includes coaches from every college sport as well as numerous athletic administrators on both the collegiate and high school level. This past year the Journal had a renewal rate of 72 percent.

The mission statement of the monthly journal is to provide content that meets that need of athletic professionals. Each month, Leadership Publishing Team founder, Dan Spainhour reads and scours the internet and print publications for the most relevant information that can make people better leaders. He then cuts it down to size saving you valuable time but still providing you with important information you can use. There is so much information out there and it can be so time consuming trying to find it. Dan Spainhour On His New Book, Leading Narratives

Leadership Publishing Team Founder is the author of several books and is the editor of The Coaching and Leadership Journal A huge part of my coaching foundation was formed when as a very young coach, I got the opportunity to work the Duke Basketball Camp. My first year was the summer following Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s third season at Duke which saw his team finish 11-17—his second consecutive losing season. Meet Wanda Briley--A Long Time Coaching and Leadership Subscriber

  Portions of the following were adapted from postandcourier.com For Wanda Briley, it’s not about the awards. Perhaps that’s why she removed the nameplates from nearly all of her sports trophies and donated them to a high school that couldn’t afford to purchase awards for its athletes.  It was the high value Briley placed on the essence of teamwork that led her into coaching after graduation from USC. She enjoyed head basketball coaching jobs at High Point, Wake Forest and Winthrop, amassing a career record of 150-26. A highlight was when her 1978 High Point squad won the AIAW Division II national championship in Briley’s first season as a head coach. She was 25.  She knew in high school that she wanted to be a basketball coach, a dream that turned into reality when she accepted the assistant coaching position at Appalachian State University.
