Dadgum it, Roy Williams Retired

Roy Williams is featured in the June 2021 issue of The Coaching and Leadership Journal

My name is Dan Spainhour and in 2011, my 30th year in athletics, I started The Coaching and Leadership Journal. The basic premise behind my journal is that we are drowning in a never-ending stream of information, updates and it’s getting harder and harder to separate the noise from the useful information. As the quantity of information grows by the hour, leaders need the means and approaches to make sense of it all.

That’s where our Journal comes in. Each issue invokes my judgment, knowledge, and experience to determine what is valuable to our readers. We scour the internet and print publications for leadership and coaching commentary and cut it down to size saving you valuable time but still giving you the information you need to stay ahead of your competition.

Here is some of what you will find in our June 2021 issue of The Coaching and Leadership Journal:

Learning from the words of Robert F. Kennedy
Lombardi’s lasting leadership legacy
Dadgum it, Roy Williams retired
Their thoughts—Dusty Baker
Gen Z is changing coaching culture
The NIL in a nutshell
What Bernie Madoff’s transgressions can teach us

The Leadership Publishing Team announced this week that their monthly journal, The Coaching and Leadership Journal  (CLJ) will continue into its 7th year. The Journal was founded in August of 2011 and published its first issue in August 2012. At that time, Dan Spainhour, founder of the Leadership Publishing Team and curator of the journal said, “I am so excited about the Coaching and Leadership Journal. I believe this monthly journal is just what the busy leader needs. There is so much information out there and it can be so time consuming trying to find it. Coaches don’t have time to read blogs, and other material that can provide some really great information. Our journal allows them to get the information they need without having to waste time searching for it. I believe the top people in any profession never stop learning and that is the main objective of this journal--provide coaches and leaders the means to learn without having to waste their valuable time.” The Journal&
