  Dr. Sam Jones Dr. Sam Jones has been a subscriber to our Coaching and Leadership Journal for five years. Dr. Jones was recently named Principal at West Stokes High School in King, North Carolina. Prior to that  he was principal at Poplar Springs Elementary since 2018 and at Walnut Cove Elementary from 2016-2018.  He also served as an Assistant Principal at Surry Central High and has teaching experience in special education and middle grades math and science in Brunswick and Pitt County Schools (NC). Jones earned a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University; a Masters in School Administration from UNC-Wilmington and a Doctor of Education from Gardner-Webb University.
