Meet Mike McShane, A CLJ Subscriber

Mike McShane has continued to amass an impressive resume at Norwich University as he concluded his 23rd season in 2017-18. Under his guidance, Norwich has won 19 of the last 20 New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) regular season titles, including an unprecedented 17 in a row that ended after the 2014-15 season. Mike's teams have made 16 NCAA Tournament appearances and 12 Frozen Four appearances.He's led NU to four NCAA Division III national championships, including the 2017 title with a 4-1 win over Trinity in Utica, N.Y. The other Cadets titles came in 2000, 2003 and 2010. The Cadets have won the NEHC Tournament crown 12 times total, including three in a row from 2010-2012.He enters the 2018-19 season with 741 career coaching victories. McShane also won his unprecedented 11th NEHC Coach of the Year honor in 2018. He ranks seventh on the all-time NCAA career coaching victories list and is just four victories away from sixth all-time.
